What do you love most about HCA?
“I love the ‘family atmosphere’ at HCA. There are always fun activities for families and students to enjoy (like Awana, services at Grace Baptist Church, fun chapels, dress up days, etc.). Our kids enjoy coming to school each day to see what fun surprises await them!”
What is one word that best describes the school? Tell us why you chose that word.
“Loving – When our child gets sick, the faculty, parents, and teachers reach out to us. When we need a little more help in school, the teachers go above to make sure we have all the assistance we need. Our students are loved by the faculty and teachers. We feel loved when walking around campus. We, as a family, have been loved by HCA—and because of that, we too LOVE HCA!”
Describe one of your favorite memories of HCA.
“We were blessed to take part in celebrating the 50th Anniversary of HCA. It was wonderful to learn the history of Highlands and to hear how HCA has impacted so many people in the community. Many of our favorite couples and families met right on this campus!”
In what ways have you seen your child grow and develop as a result of experiences at HCA?
“Our children have grown so much spiritually through HCA. What a blessing it is to have our children come to school to further their knowledge about the Lord, study His Word, memorize Scripture, and grow in an environment where they can be surrounded by like-minded people.”
What would you tell other parents to encourage them to consider enrolling their children at HCA?
“We would tell them that there is no better place where they will feel part of a ‘family’ than at Highlands. We would also tell them that this is the place for them if they would love the support of having a whole school come alongside in their efforts to raise disciples for Christ.”
