Knights Welcome Professional Basketball Player Kennedy Eubanks to the Coaching Staff

Highlands Christian Academy and the Knights are pleased to welcome Mr. Kennedy Eubanks to the coaching staff for the 2019-2020 school year! Mr. Eubanks will be teaching junior high and high school physical education, weight training, and assisting Coach Pridemore with the boys basketball teams.

Kennedy comes to Highlands with the exciting experience of playing professional basketball in the Canary Islands, Spain, as well as with his Degree in Communications from The University of Texas-Arlington in Arlington, Texas.

Born in Nashville, Tennessee, Kennedy was raised in Georgia and South Carolina (where, incidentally, he met his fiance in  junior high!). Outside of work, he says he likes to travel and enjoys being on the water – tubing, riding a jet ski, and fishing. His favorite Bible verse comes from Psalm 71: In you, Lord, I have taken refuge: let me never be put to shame.

Coach Eubanks is relocating back in the States from his work as Assistant Director of Basketball for the city of Beijing, China, and will be arriving at Highlands soon. He shares, “I look forward to coming to work every day to interact and make a lasting impact on each and every student I come in contact with at Highlands.”

Welcome to Highlands, Coach Kennedy Eubanks! We can’t wait to get to know you, see you around campus, and watch you on Cook Court with the Knights!
