Highlands Christian Academy congratulates the Class of 2017 on their upcoming graduation and announces that four of the seniors will be attending Florida Atlantic University in the fall.

Melissa Pereira came to Highlands in K3, making her an HCA Lifer. She plans to  major in Psychology at FAU. Melissa’s favorite HCA memory is the senior trip, and her favorite teacher is Mr. Attard because “he’s good at teaching and making sure we truly understand. He cares about how his students are doing, is kind, and makes me laugh.”

Jessica Pereira also came to HCA in K3, making her an HCA Lifer. She plans to major in Child Psychology at FAU. Jessica’s favorite HCA memory is the senior trip, and her favorite teacher is Mr. Ratzlaff because “I know he’s always there and willing to talk and answer our questions.”

Raphael Borges came to Highlands in 10th grade. He plans to major in International Business and Trade at FAU. His favorite HCA memory is going to the state championship for cross country, and his favorite teachers are Mr. Canning and Mrs. Ratzlaff “because they have pushed me to be academically successful.”

Daniel Novick came to Highlands in 5th grade. He plans to major in Criminal Justice at FAU. Daniel’s favorite HCA memories are all the band trips to Universal Studios, and his favorite teacher is Mr. Canning “because he really invests time into his work to make sure every student has the ability to succeed.”

Congratulations, Melissa, Jessica, Raphael, and Daniel! Your administrators, teachers, and the HCA family wish you the very best as you graduate on June 2nd and head to Florida Atlantic University! We will be praying for you!
