Highlands Christian Academy congratulates the Class of 2017 on their upcoming graduation and announces that Gina Oliva and Jake Peterson will be attending Florida Gulf Coast University, Fort Meyers, in the fall.

Gina came to Highlands in 7th grade. She plans to major in Business Administration at FGCU. Gina’s favorite HCA memory is the senior trip, and her favorite teacher is Mr. Attard because “he’s the coolest teacher ever!”

Jake Peterson came to Highlands in 9th grade. He plans to major in Finance at FGCU. Jake’s favorite HCA memory is “the hole-in-the-wall restaurant” in France on the senior trip, and his favorite teachers are Mr. Canning and Mrs. Veynovich because “they have put our abilities to the full test and make us learn to figure things out on our own.”

Congratulations, Gina and Jake! Your administrators, teachers, and the entire Highlands’ family wish you the very best as you graduate on June 2nd and head to Florida Gulf Coast University! We will be praying for you!
