Slideshow: Students Showcase Dedication, Effort, and Diligence on Projects Night
HCA was pleased to showcase K5 through 5th grade student projects and art work last evening at the annual Projects Night and Art Fair. Parents and family members came to view their students’ work, browse classrooms to gain appreciation for work done in other grades, and walk through the Art Fair to see and purchase students’ framed artwork.
Kindergarten students study the life cycle of a plant and grow plants. First graders write a book report, design a book cover, and make a class presentation. Second graders prepare their first Science Fair project, learning the five parts of the science project process. Third graders research and produce a portfolio with the different species of animals. Fourth graders research the historical facts and government of Florida and produce a beautiful portfolio. Fifth graders plan, prepare, and conduct their Science Fair experiment, complete with a research paper and project presentation.
