HCA Encourages Families to Support the School by Shopping at Home!
HCA launched the Great American FUNdraiser this week, and this important project will raise money for school, student, and classroom needs.
Project Coordinator Mrs. Leslie Shein shares, “We are encouraging you to renew your magazines through this sale. If you are already subscribing to a magazine (print or digital), you can renew it through our school, and another year will be added to your current subscription. You can also order new subscriptions. A great way to bridge the gap between reading at home and school is by ordering a magazine for your student.”
The easiest way to support HCA is through the online sale, and parents are encouraged to check out the website link below. There are over 1600 items to choose from with many great gift items including gift wrap, jewelry, and other fun things. These online orders can still be applied to a specific student and are counted towards prizes and incentives.
A packet was sent home with K5 through 12th grade students. Parents can check out the brochures for the College Tumblers and Virginia Diner Nuts, as well as a custom HCA 24 oz. tumbler. At the kickoff this week, students learned about the exciting prizes they can earn while helping their school. In addition to the prizes, students can also earn college tuition credit by participating.
$100 sales = $,1000 Tuition Rewards
$250 sales = $2,500 Tuition Rewards
40% of every sale directly benefits Highlands Christian Academy. Parents can click on the link below to support HCA, and they can shop or click “register” to send emails to family and friends. All online sales count toward students’ prizes. “Our success depends on the teamwork of our school community,” says Mrs. Shein. “Thank you for participating and helping us reach our goal!”
