New Cafeteria Director Looks Forward to the Year Ahead
HCA is delighted to welcome Mrs. Becky Dixon as the new cafeteria director for the 2016-2017 school year! Mrs. Dixon was born in Danbury, Connecticut and raised in Cape Cod, Massachusetts. She and her husband met at NCNB (now Bank of America) while both working there, and were married in 2004. Kevin and Becky have two children who are students at HCA: Marcus in 6th grade and Tessa in 4th. Mrs. Dixon loves being at the Hollywood Beach board walk with her family, swimming in the pool, going out bargain shopping–and her newest hobby is kick boxing!
Mrs. Dixon enjoyed being involved with the PTA at her children’s previous school where she had leadership roles for the past 5 years, working with the faculty, students, and parents on a daily basis. She says, “I am an organizer by nature and am looking forward to supervising the HCA cafeteria. I love the community here at Highlands. This is an opportunity for me to be an integral part of providing daily nutrition to the students, to challenge myself in my new role as Cafeteria Director, and to be a part of the growth of this wonderful school.”
Mrs. Dixon’s favorite Bible verses are Ephesians 4:31-32 – Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.
