NHS Students Join Forces with The Do More Foundation to Help Chronically Ill Children
The HCA National Honor Society students are once again donating their time and investing their hearts to help others in need! The dedicated junior high and high school students, under the leadership of Mrs. Lorri Mathisen and Mr. John Wilson, will be joining forces and conducting a service project with The Do More Foundation on May 7, 2016. The event? A family-friendly ColorDash 5K taking place on the HCA campus, with special incentives for HCA students to get involved and win a sno-cone or ice-cream party for their class.
HCA families and the community are invited to check out the details HERE and register today. For every registration indicating “HCA NHS” as the referral source, a portion of the registration fee will be given to the Highlands Christian Academy NHS.
The main function of The Do More Foundation is to give financial assistance to families with chronically ill children as well as to families who have lost a child and need help paying for funeral expenses.
